O’Brien Center researchers and colleagues implicate bisphenol-A and its replacements in the development and progression of LUTD

In a new publication in Biochemical Pharmacology, former Ricke Lab postdoc Dr. Jalissa Nguyen and researchers in Dr. William Ricke’s lab, in collaboration with colleagues at UCSF, the University of Iowa, the University of South Dakota, and the University of Missouri Columbia, implicate bisphenol-A and its replacements in the development and progression of lower urinary tract dysfunction in mice and provide insights into the development and progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia/lower urinary tract symptoms in men.
