Ana Lucila (Lulu) Bautista-Ruiz

Lulu joined the Ricke lab in 2021. She is interested in the connection between the Col1a1 gene and benign prostatic hyperplasia with lower urinary tract symptoms (BPH/LUTS). She is also researching the role of ERα in the development of BPH following TCDD exposure. Lulu is skilled in mouse handling, cell culture, onboarding, research supply ordering, and database entry. She assists all lab members with projects and maintenance.
