Eighteen months prior to the completion of residency, a candidate should forward a copy of their CV, personal statement and two letters of reference including a letter of support from their program director recommending them for a fellowship and attesting to their successful completion of the residency program. Admission is contingent on the completion of an ACGME accredited urologic training program. Candidates should have taken the qualifying portion Part One of the American Board of Urology Exam or be board certified by the ABU. Applications are accepted beginning in September. They should be posted directly to the Program Director (David Jarrard, MD). Options for interviews include the AUA meeting and applicants are encouraged to visit the medical center in Madison. Early June is the online deadline for the submission of rank and preference letters with the match being completed in mid-June. Match results are announced shortly thereafter.
