Visiting medical student electives/sub-internships for senior medical students interested in Urology Residency training are encouraged and generally occur between July and September of the senior year. These rotations are typically 4 weeks and are competitively approved by Dr. Tracy Downs. Interested students should submit:
• A letter of interest addressed to Dr. Downs
• A current CV
• A Personal Statement
Please apply by March 31 as initial rotation decisions for visiting students will be made on April 15 or shortly thereafter.
Following approval from the Department of Urology, the applicant will need to visit the VSAS website or go directly to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health VSAS information page to apply.
