University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center – The only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin, as designated by the National Cancer Institute. Each year, UW Hospital and Clinics, as well as its other clinical locations, sees more than 30,000 people for diagnosis, therapy, follow-up care or consultations for cancer treatment.
Sky’s the Limit: A Culinary Concert – This annual fundraiser takes place in November and combines dinner, live and silent auctions, jazz, and a culinary demonstration to benefit the Wisconsin Urologic Research Institute.
American Urological Association (AUA) – Founded in 1902, AUA’s mission is to promote the highest standards or urological clinical care through education, research and the formulation of health care policy.
Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) – A sub-specialty society of the American Urological Association, SUO offers a forum for health professionals interested in the care of patients with malignant genitourinary diseases and is dedicated to advancing education and research into urologic cancers.
Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) – A community of advocates, survivors, and medical and research professionals united in support of people touched by bladder cancer. BCAN oversees the organization of Walk for Bladder Cancer events throughout the United States every year on the first Saturday in May.
Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) – An international organization dedicated to the eradication of death and suffering from renal cancers.
Fertile Hope – Dedicated to providing reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.
Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) – Affecting one in six men, prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in America. PCF works to support prostate cancer research to discover better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.
