David Jarrard, MD, and Professor of Chemistry Lloyd Smith, received a five-year renewal of their NIH RO1 grant in the amount of $2.9 million. The title of the project is “Sequence-specific Hybridization Capture for Discovery of Proteoform-IncRNA Interactions in Prostate Cancer”. This project seeks to apply novel technology to understand how prostate cancer develops and identify new biomarkers of the disease.
