Emily has worked in the Ricke lab for over 15 years. She is involved in assisting lab members in publications and presentations, and manages Dr. Ricke’s IRBs. She can often be found troubleshooting, teaching, and assisting Dr. Ricke’s lab members. She is skilled in basic molecular biology techniques, microscopy, animal models, as well as, cell culture techniques, and protein chemistry. Emily has experience in academia and the private sector at a biotechnology company. Her research interests include benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer progression, lower urinary tract symptoms, and bladder outlet obstruction.
