Wisconsin Urology Grand Rounds is a weekly, multidisciplinary and inter-professional series designed to enhance an individual’s ability to practice medicine. Grand Rounds works on improving knowledge in clinical care, medical education, public health, healthcare research, and innovation implementation.
Grand Rounds is presented by UW faculty and guest faculty from around the world. Department faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and community-based Urologists benefit from the discussions and presentations brought forth by Grand Rounds.

Prevention of Urolithiasis with Diet – Kristina Penniston, PhD, RD
Dr. Penniston is a Senior Scientist at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health as well as a Clinical Nutritionist with UW Hospital and Clinics. She provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with urologic diseases, such as kidney stones, prostate cancer, and other urinary tract conditions. Dr. Penniston has been the nutritionist for the UW Hospital Metabolic Stone Clinic since 1999.
