Visiting medical student sub-internships for senior medical students interested in Urology Residency training are encouraged and occur between July and September of the senior year. These rotations are typically four weeks and are competitively approved by Dr. Vinaya Bhatia and Dr. Dan Williams. Interested students should submit an application that will include the following:
- A personal statement/letter of interest
- A current CV
Our rotations are currently full for 2024, and we are no longer accepting applications for visiting medical student sub-internships.
Following approval from the Department of Urology, the applicant will need to review the UW SMPH Visiting Medical Student Clerkship Program page for specific University of Wisconsin policies regarding visiting students.
Candidates must fulfill all UWSMPH application and onboarding requirements to be fully approved for a rotation.
The Department of Urology does not accept international visiting students in their electives, per UWSMPH policy.
