Tudor Borza, MD has been awarded a $10,000 Wisconsin Urological Association Pilot Grant for his project, “Improving Opioid Stewardship Among Wisconsin Urologists”. The project has three aims – to develop a robust, reliable, and reproducible method of identifying perioperative opioid prescribing patterns among Wisconsin urologists; to engage and instruct Wisconsin urologists on data-driven, evidence-based methods to reduce opioid overprescribing; to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational intervention in reducing opioid prescribing among Wisconsin urologists.
